Online payment fees

Online payment fees are charged by Paystack, not Prospera.

When a customer pays a business online by card, bank transfer or USSD, the payment goes through Paystack, a licensed payment company. Paystack charges a processing fee on each payment and takes it before the money reaches the business’s bank account.

Every online payment provider charges a fee like this. It pays for the card networks, the banks and the fraud checks that move the money safely; card machines (POS) charge one too. Paystack’s fee goes to Paystack. Prospera receives none of it.

The customer always pays exactly the amount on the invoice. Cash payments recorded in Prospera have no processing fee.
